This is my sister Heather's wonderful Sugar Cookie recipe. They are so fluffy! YUMMY!
½ cup shortening
1 cup butter
2 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
5 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
Combine all ingredients together and chill for 1 hour. Cook for 6 minutes on 400 degrees.
FROSTING FOR COOKIES
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp milk
1/3 cup butter
Combine all ingredients together.
