Sweet and Sour Chicken - Ruby H. Blacker

Sauce:
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
3/4 cup chicken broth
4 Tbsp. catsup
1 Tbsp. soy sauce

Mix and heat.

3 lb chicken
2 to 3 beaten eggs

Clean and cut up chicken. Dip pieces into cornstarch, then into eggs. Fry in oil until golden brown. Place chicken in a 9x13 inch pan. Pour sauce over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Turn chicken once while cooking so it can absorb the sauce.
